Carmex Classic Lip Balm

The Classic Lip Balm from Carmex really does the job when it comes to keeping my lips moisturized and protected. It helps soothe dry or chapped lips. However, I’m not a big fan of the smell. It has a medicated scent that can be a bit too much for me. While it works great, I just wish the scent was a little lighter or more pleasant. Still, I keep using it because it does what it’s supposed to do and that’s what matters most.

I didn't finish using this because I didn't like the smell and the taste. It moisturizes the lips, but the texture is too thick for my liking. It feels like slathering a thick wax on my lips. This is ideal for individuals seeking a highly moisturizing lip balm that doesn't mind the sticky feeling on their lips or those with no sensitivity to odors. If you're a 'natural' product girlie, this ain't for you.

It does moisturize my lips, but it has unpleasant smell. I don't know how to describe the smell of it but it does not smell good.

It definitely is soothing! Discovered this one in Duty Free Subic when it was discounted. Feels so silky on the lips and not at all sticky. I tried so hard to make it last since I love the lip balm so much. It also has a menthol effect on the lips that I like. I bought the stick version now for easy application since you kinda waste a bit if the product when using fingertips.

I really love this product because it became my go-to lip base before applying make-up. It softens my lips in a short period of time, and the pocket-size product can go anywhere with me. I like that this product is organic and colorless. That's why even my boyfriend loves this product as his lip care because it does not have a tint and it smells sweet but has no taste. This is worth it because it goes a long way. I bought this product way back 2021, and I still have it with me. Anyway, I trust this brand a lot, and it healed my bleeding lips in a week. as long as you use it consistently. One thing I don't like is the packaging. I like the size, but the jar-like container is not hygienic in the long run, especially if I have to dip my finger in to use the product. Overall the product itself is a holy grail.
