We switched to himalayan pink salt, not sure why, but riding the trend years ago is still in our daily lives now. It's still sodium, which means anyone not allowed with too much salt intake needs to watch it. However the himalayan pink salt supposedly is less processed than the usual table salt we have -- hence, there are minerals and electrolytes present. When used in salads, the taste is a little bit stronger than the usual table salt, but the flavor just mixes properly with everything. When used in cooking, mas mabilis sya sa mag melt and mix. Definitely will continue to use as long as our budget allows :D

The pink salt was in the medium range of saltiness. I like to use this kind of salt because of its health benefits. According to google it has 84 trace minerals and its sodium content per teaspoon is much lower compared to table salt which is great for hypertensive persons.

This product is super handy and easy to use. It adds umami flavor to my dishes! This is a must try👍🏻
