La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5

Awesome product that's great for skin basting and healing your skin. I use this when my face is peeling and very dry. I also use it on my lips when it's cracked, just remember not to lick your lips after applying lol. It's really great for healing but be careful, it's quite concentrated and if you have sensitive skin it may become an issue for you and cause breakouts if you don't use it wisely. I recommend you start small by applying to dry patches on your skin and overtime build up.

As an acne prone skin gurly, hesitated to try this at first thinking of it as a balm that would totally make my face more oilyyy but bc had a bad breakout at some point and just like okay lets give it one chance bc it was on sale at that time. AND IM SO GLADDD I SPENT MY HARD EARNT MONEY ON THIS! Just wear it during the night I alternate it maybe like once every two day like that and just lurve. Helps to sooth my skin, woke up with the toing toing glass skin truly a life saver but not money saver la for sure. Its more to the expensive side of skincare but, truly worth the money and tbh it goes a long way bc u use it only a pea size leh bc balm kan. So pls try this if u hve breakout. If you're looking for a repair cream that has Zinc oxide, this is it. But the cream leaves an oily feel after that so if you have oily skin, skip the heavy serum and lather a rich layer of this for a skin reset once a week and your skin will look alot better the next day. Alot people are opting for diaper rash cream as a cheaper alternative and I've used that before but still prefer the cicaplast baume. I will not use this everyday but only as a skin reset about 1-2 times a week when skin is red and feeling sensitive. Consistency wise it is not a thick cream but rather white and thin oily based cream. It does not absorb well because it is meant to stay on top of your skin to repair the surface overnight. Because it has Zinc oxiced, it does leave a white cast like mineral sunscreen. No fragrance and great for sensitive skin.

This balm is so versatile because you can use it as a moisturiser or lathered it on your whole face as a mask if your skin is going through a flare up. I can always rely on Cicaplast Baume B5 to the rescue if I ever have any dry patches on the side of my mouth and nose
