I recently came across the twin pack at the supermkt n tried it as I had sme toilet ring stains that were so stubborn. I used quite a liberal amount under the rim and down the bowl sides and left it for sme hrs to work its magic. I wud say that it does work to make the bowl whiter but it didn't quite remove all the stains especially the ones at the water level. But with sme elbow grease, I did manage to scrub off sme old dark stains which I am guessing is from the water running down the inner rim. Not perfect but it works 70% in removing stains. Does not smell too strong of bleach and non of that sickly flower or fruit smell which i like.
